Margaret Drew
Director & Owner
Margaret is the Managing Director of Hare’s Hair and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the salon. Her experience as a manager, educator and stylist spans a 39 year career.
Margaret has been the hair co-ordinator for Queensland’s annually televised fashion event, the NRA Australian Fashion Design Awards for the past 15 years. She is an accomplished stage presenter, and has been featured as a guest artist for well known colour companies both here and in Asia. Her work has often been described as “sheer creative magic”.
While Margaret’s specialty is Bridal hair, her burning passion is training young apprentices and junior hair stylists in her salon.

Reichen Hodsdon
Reichen is an exuberant, multi skilled, motivated and competitive hair stylist, who has created a niche market for himself within the hairdressing industry. He is a keen and formidable competitor in the International Hairdressing Society competitions, where he has been consistently placed. He is a glowing example of a Hare’s Hair trained prodigy. Reichen believes in a total involvement in the Hairdressing industry and has assisted at L’Oreal Fashion Week in Melbourne and the NRA Australian Fashion Design Awards. He is an accomplished stage artist/demonstrator and a compelling platform educator for L’Oreal Professional and leads the Hare’s Hair Competition Team. |
Jason Hill
Jason is a quiet achiever who excels in the presentation of the latest in craft, technology and knowledge. He is an accomplished educator and stage artist, demonstrating for L’Oreal Professional. Jason has also assisted at L’Oreal Fashion Week in Melbourne and is the Hair Director for NRA Australian Fashion Design Awards. He has competed in Queensland and National hairdressing competitions and has been consistently placed. Jason has just been put in the Top Ten Stylist in Hairdressing in Australia for his collection for the Australian Hairdressing Awards for Hair Expo. Jason is the Trainer for the Team at Hares Hair. Jason has extended his natural artistic talent to photography and is extensively used as Hare’s Hair “in-house” photographer. |

Young-mi Kim
Young is an experienced international hairdresser and stylist from Korea and is a welcome addition to the Hare’s Hair team. Young brings with her new treatment techniques from abroad, including chemical compatibility tests, permanent hair straightening, hair relaxation and specialised perming technology. She has been involved in photo shoots, competitions and educational workshops for L’Oreal Professional. With her great love of fashion, Young is the lead hair stylist for international clothes designer, Bora. |
Ann-Marie Lunow
Ann-Marie’s hard work, commitment and personal growth are reflected in the quality of her achievements. She sets the bench mark for enthusiasm and reflects the standard of training at Hare’s Hair. Her dedication and passion is reflected in the excellence of her competition work. She has been awarded with first, second and third places in Bridal and Catwalk competitions for the International Hairdressing Society. Her winning work can be seen proudly decorating the walls of the salon and also featured in industry magazines.

Marselly Conway
Marselly is one of our younger stylists at the salon, who enjoys participating in competition work and styling hair for special events. She has won the L’Oreal Style and Shoot competition for QLD, the past two years 2006 and 2007 – a great accomplishment for her and the salon. A creative and determined individual, who is enthusiastic about her future career and enjoys the challenge that hairdressing presents to her. |
Theo Sotiriou
Theo is a junior stylist who brings to the salon enthusiasm and dedication. Theo in his career thus far has won 1st in Catwalk for the I.H.S Qld Competitions.

Josh Magee
Josh comes to Hare’s Hair with 14 years experience as a hairdresser. He has spent the last 8 years perfecting his skills in London. During his time there, he worked with the Headmaster Group. His time with them saw him managing a busy inner London salon and acting as one of their main trainers. Josh was involved in fashion shoots, London Fashion Week and Graduate Fashion Week.
After his time with the Headmaster Group, Josh moved into a role at L’Oreal as Technical Consultant for the London/South Region, training people in all aspects of colour and cutting.
Josh’s technical knowledge is second to none. Colour corrections and problems are his specialty and his role at L’Oreal has cemented his confidence in this field. He also contributed creatively to the company, releasing a number of seasonal collections, presenting at Salon International and working with some of the biggest names in the business including Zoe Irwin, Andrew Barton and Errol Douglas.
With experience in so many different capacities of hairdressing, and a commitment to technical hair excellence, Josh brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise as well as new and exciting ideas on fashion trends and hair care. |
